Guy Tyler Gifford
Guy Tyler Gifford of Collinsville, IL, born August 29, 1982 in St. Louis, MO.
Died November 2, 2010 at 1:05 P.M., at his residence after an illness of Metastatic Melanoma Cancer.
He worked at Bank of America in St. Louis, MO. Among his favorite activities were watching his beloved St. Louis Cardinals, going to concerts, and hanging out with his friends. He loved his family and would attend all of the family get-togethers.
He was proceeded in death by a Brother Micah Gifford, Uncle Robert “Bob” Gifford, Grandmother Betty Gifford, Grandmother Anita Pilcher, Grandfather Basil Pilcher, and Cousin Nathan Staley.
Surviving are his parents Deena (nee Warren) and Jerry Pilcher of Collinsville, Sister Ashley (nee Gifford) and Brett Swip of Collinsville, Nephew William “Will” Swip of Collinsville, Grandparents Verna “Deana” and Jim Woodward of Collinsville, Grandfather Peter Gifford Sr. of Collinsville, ten sets of aunts and uncles, twenty-two cousins, and eight second cousins. Tyler is survived by too many friends to count.
VISITATION: 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Friday, November 5, 2010 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1300 Beltline Road, Collinsville, IL.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with Reverend Michael Walther officiating.
At the family’s request, memorials can be made to the Siteman Cancer Center or The American Cancer Society.
