Linda Marie Harvell
Linda Marie Harvell, nee Thouvenot, 61 of Collinsville, IL, born June 5, 1956, gained her wings and went to her eternal home on Sunday, April 22, 2018 with her loving family by her side.
Beloved daughter of Robert Lee and Mary Lou nee Sweeney Thouvenot; loving wife of 43 years to her husband, Gary Paul Harvell; devoted mother to her two daughters, Angela Marie and Samantha Lynn Harvell; proud grandmother (NANA) to her only grandson, Noah Matthew Harvell, the light of her life; dear sister to Mary (David) Lipsey, Debra (Robert) Muesenfecter, Robert (Peggy) Thouvenot and Cheryl (Jeffrey) Barnett; doting Aunt to many nieces and nephews, Godmother, and friend to many.
Linda, affectionately known as the “Scentsy Lady” will be remembered for her huge heart, larger than life personality, and her contagious and infectious laugh. She had an ability to bring a room to roaring laughter with her storytelling and jokes. Linda was always the life of the party. Linda’s favorite season was springtime, when she could begin tending to her beautiful gardens with her beloved dogs, Toby Jo and Bella, by her side.
Linda was a true warrior. She fought many health battles during her life. Only this time, a rare disease (Calciphylaxis) was stronger than her. Her family will continue to raise awareness and educate people so her fight was not in vain.
You loved us more, we will always love you most. To the moon and beyond!
