Aaron Christopher Berta, age 34 of Swansea, IL, born April 11, 1988 in Granite City, IL, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

Aaron worked in hospital maintenance.  He was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Collinsville. He enjoyed spending time with his son. His hobbies included reading, caring for his plants, and playing pool.

He is survived by his son, Andrew Christopher Berta; parents, Michael and Rhonda (nee Koenig) Berta; a sister, Abbi Berta; and close friend, Sabrina Brown.

A private memorial gathering will be held.
