Almira B. Miller, age 93 of Collinsville, IL, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Villas of Holly Brook in Collinsville.

She was born December 22, 1930 in Erwin, TN to the late Dewey and Ethel (nee Gouge) Bryant.  She married Ernest Miller, Jr. on December 27, 1951 and he preceded her in death.

Almira was a homemaker.  She enjoyed cooking and was a member of Meadow Heights Baptist Church in Collinsville where she played the organ for 35 years.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Locheal Buchanan.

She is survived by her son, Kevin (Marlisa) Miller of Bowling Green, KY; sister, Murlean Tucker of Clemmons, NC; brother-in-law, Vernon Miller of Birmingham, AL; numerous nieces and nephews.

Almira's wishes were to be cremated and no services will be held at this time.
