Angela Marie Travers, age 42 of Glen Carbon, IL, born February 13, 1978 in Dover, DE, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at her residence.

She was a proud alumna of Rosati-Kain High School in St. Louis, Missouri, Regis College, and Western New England College in Massachusetts where she earned her MBA. She was a member of the Delta Epsilon Sigma and the Omicron Delta Epsilon Economic honor societies. She spent her career as a cost analyst for the US Government.

Angela was an eager traveler always having some trip to anticipate often before flying home. Great memories were collected in Alaska, Hawaii, the Redwoods in California, and touring of Savannah with her sister. Angela was the foremost authority on all the hidden highlights at Disney World and particularly enjoyed touring the country exhibits at Epcot. She loved attending hockey games (go Caps!) with her family and was a board gaming enthusiast.

She is survived by her parents, Charles and Lorraine (nee Kugel) Travers; a brother, Charly Travers Jr. and Brandy Crist-Travers of Alexandria, VA; and a sister, Stephanie Travers and special friend Carl Erickson of Gilbert, AZ. Angela was an incredibly devoted aunt to her nephew Rhys Travers. Cooper & Lily Grace, her beloved King Charles Spaniels, will miss their mama.

A private memorial service will be held at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, IL with Father Rob Johnson officiating.

Memorials may be made in Angela's honor to Hawthorne Animal Hospital Angel Fund and will be received at the funeral home.
