Antonio Oseguera Gonzalez, age 89 of Maryville, IL, born March 15, 1929 in Chavinda, Michoacan, Mexico passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at his residence surrounded by family.

Antonio was a retired farmhand.  Prior to coming to the United States, he was a police officer in Mexico City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Mercedes ( nee Gonzalez) Oseguera; and two children.

He is survived by his wife, Leonor ( nee Cuevas) Oseguera; eight children; and two sisters.

Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, IL.

Funeral mass will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at St. Bonifice Catholic Church, 110 North Buchanan Street, Edwardsville, IL 62025 with Father Paul Habing celebrant.
