Arletta Kay Laxton, age 65 of Edwardsville, IL, born March 14, 1953 in St. Louis, MO, passed away on April 25, 2018 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

She was a retired secretary for a travel agency and enjoyed shopping at thrift stores and spending time with friends.

Arletta was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Jo Ann (nee Wallace) Laxton.

She is survived by a brother, Stephen Timothy Laxton of Mill Spring, MO, and a sister, Robin Ann (Walton) Lee.

Her wishes were to be cremated.
