Audrey Susan Diener, age 81 of Troy, IL, born January 6, 1943 in St. Louis, MO, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

Audrey worked at Schnucks Grocery Store in the payroll department and retired after 30 years. She loved reading, genealogy, spending time with her family, and celebrating Christmas with everyone she loved.

She was preceded by her husband, Fred Diener; parents: Charles C. and Roberta J. (nee Ames) Lee; son, Robert "Bobby" J. Hayden, Jr.; and sister, Beverly Luther.

She is survived by three children: Charles "Chuck" (Glenda) Hayden, Pamela "Pam" (Paul) Mumper, and Wayne Hayden; nine grandchildren: Joe (Jennifer) Hayden, Andrew Hayden, Nicholas (Sarah) Hayden, Chelsea Hayden,  Austin Hayden, Christy (Brendan) Ritchason, Casey (Jason Gepford) Mumper, Ron (Michele) Johnson, and Michael (Kristi) Johnson; nine great-grandchildren: Miles Hayden, Robbie Hayden, Tucker Hayden, Callie Hayden, Henry Ritchason, Katelyn Johnson, Kylie Johnson, Abigail Johnson, and Lilian Johnson; nephews: Bill (Cyndee) Luther, and Brian (Kyra) Luther; brother-in-law, Bill (Theresa) Luther; and ex-husband, Robert Sr. (Tammy) Hayden.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
