Barbara Ann Smith, age 82, of Glen Carbon, IL, born May 28, 1940, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022 at Addington Place of Edwardsville, IL.

She was a homemaker and a wonderful mother and grandmother.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Creo and Caroline Lindsay; her husband, David Smith; a brother, Leo; and a sister, Wilma.

She is survived by four daughters: Carrie Zagel of Florida, Lynn Crossland of Texas, Tracy Byron of Glen Carbon, IL, and Carol Rondeau of South Carolina; and a sister-in-law, Marcella Lindsay of Troy, IL.

Her wishes were to be cremated and no services will be held.
