Betty L. Acton, age 62, of Caseyville, IL, born May 11, 1959 in Mobile, AL, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

Betty enjoyed watching the St. Louis Blues, crocheting, and listening to Christian music.  She loved animals, especially dogs and birds.

She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Acton; and her father.

She is survived by her son, Christopher (Elizabeth) Acton of Ballwin, MO; mother, Betty (nee Howard) Gerlach of Coulterville, IL; two brothers:  Rob and Rick Gerlach; and a sister, Denise Owen.

Memorial visitation will be 1 - 3 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home in Maryville, IL.  Due to current state restrictions, masks are required to be worn.

Memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. with Rev. Karl Sparks officiating.
