Obituary

Bryan R. Herr, 67, of St. Louis, MO, passed away at his home on Saturday, August 30, 2025. He was born on April 8, 1958, in East St. Louis, IL.

Bryan was the proud former owner of Naked Vine in Chesterfield, MO, where he shared his love of wine, whiskey, live music, and good company with the community. Bryan believed in living life fully and authentically. He found joy in travel, the challenge of a good round of golf, and enjoyed listening to music, especially The Grateful Dead.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Charleen (née Schade) Herr.

Bryan is survived by his father, Philip Herr of Collinsville, IL; his three beloved daughters: Margaret "Maggie" (Corey) Scott, Anne "Annie" Herr, and Elizabeth "Libby" Herr, and their mother, Kathryn O'Flynn. He was a devoted grandfather to Charles "Charlie" and James "Jack" Scott, with another grandchild expected soon. Bryan is also survived by his brothers: Jeffrey Herr of Swansea, IL, Kevin Herr of Collinsville, IL, and Daniel (Anne) Herr of Albuquerque, NM; as well as multiple nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at St. Roch Catholic Church, 6052 Waterman Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63112.

Memorial mass will follow at 10 a.m.
