Carissa E. Brown, age 39 of Belleville, IL, born May 17, 1980 in Peoria, IL, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.

Carissa worked as a casino dealer at the Casino Queen and River City Casino.  She had lots of friends, loved kids, and to sing karaoke.  Her nieces and nephews called "Aunt Rissa."  She was always the life of the party and fun to be around.  She will be missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, William Brown; and an uncle, Kevin Brown.

She is survived by her parents, Cyndi Brown-McFarland and Robert McFarland; grandmother, Alberta Brown of North Port, FL; a brother, Jaycee (Ashley) DesRoches of Baldwin, IL; a step-brother, Mitchell (Kara) McFarland of Collinsville, IL; a step-sister, Ashley (Ryan) Freeman of Hillsboro, MO; two aunts: Carla (Kevin) Sullivan of North Port, FL and Regina Brown of St. Louis, MO; two uncles:  Ray and Rodney Brown of North Port, FL; and eight nieces and nephews.
