Carol Kay Storm, age 83 of Collinsville, IL, born December 2, 1939 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

Carol was a retired insurance sales agent.  She worked many years at Minnigerode Agency in Fairview Heights, IL, and also volunteered at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.  She traveled all around the world, loved family get togethers, and spending time with her grandchildren and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Austin Storm; a son, Christopher Storm; parents, John and Virginia (nee Lawton) Kuhn; a sister, Gaylynn Minnigerode; four brothers:  Gary, Ricky, Randy and Dennis Kuhn.

Surviving are a daughter, Denise (Dave) Damschroeder of Collinsville, IL; two sons, Scott Storm of Collinsville, IL and Craig (Lisa) Storm of Waterloo, IL; daughter-in-law, Evy Storm of Troy, IL; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Debra (Steve) Huddleston of Columbia, IL; four sisters-in-law, Diana Kuhn, Donna (Art) Poser, Nina (Bill) Jackson and Marge Storm; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Friday, March 31, 2023 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home in Maryville, IL.

A funeral service will follow at 12 noon with Rev. Katie Jo Bielke officiating.  Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Glen Carbon, IL.
