Carole Ann Foehrkolb, age 81 of Troy, IL, formerly of Collinsville and Edwardsville, born May 19, 1938 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

Carole enjoyed painting, the St. Louis Baseball Cardinals, driving her convertible with the top down, and spending time at the beach.  Most of all she treasured her time spent with her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Madeline nee Mecca Herron.

She is survived by her four children:  Mike (Kelly) Foehrkolb of St. Louis, MO, Scott Foehrkolb of Reno, IL, Lisa McMichael of Collinsville, IL and Lynne (Jim) Clubb of Edwardsville, IL; 10 grandchildren:  Jennifer (Drew) Smith, Amanda and Aimee Foehrkolb, Zachary (Riley) Clubb, Jimmy and Jeff Clubb, Mackenzie and Abigail Foehrkolb, Matthew (Ethan Brown) Bone, Kassandra (Cody) Owen; 7 great-grandchildren:  Nathan, Nick and Nolan Smith, Donald Hodge, Opal and Daisy Foehrkolb, and Skylar Owen; a brother, Jim (Helen) Herron; and a sister, Mary Beth (Allan) Artimisi.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.

Memorials in Carole's honor may be made to the Alzheimer's Association and mailed to the funeral home at 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
