Charles H. "Chuck" Lozier, age 67, of Collinsville, IL, passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on January 28, 2023.

He was born May 21, 1955 in Granite City to the late Harold and Virginia (nee Klenc) Lozier of Maryville.

Chuck was a loving husband and father.  He was an avid sports fan and he enjoyed walking in 5K's.  He was employed by BNSF Railway for 39 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Doris Brandmeyer of New Baden; sister-in-law, Donna Lozier of Alton; nephews, Justin Brandmeyer, Patrick Fuehne, and Matt Moeller; and niece, Megan Oelrich.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Mary (nee Brandmeyer) Lozier, whom he married July 28, 1984 in Belleville; a daughter, Cassidy (Nick) Meyer of Collinsville; siblings, Adele "Bunny" (Bob) Miller and John Lozier of Alton, Tom Lozier and Jim (Colleen) Lozier of Pocahontas; sisters-in-law, Judy (Jim) Fuehne and Angie (Matt) Oelrich of New Baden; brothers-in-law, Tom (Barb) Brandmeyer of Aviston, Denny (Bev) Brandmeyer of Albers, Steve (Jeanne) Brandmeyer of St. Charles, and Jeff (Lisa) Brandmeyer of St. Louis; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation will be 12 noon to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home in Maryville followed by a service at 2:30 p.m.

Private burial will in SS Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery in Collinsville.
