Connie Willoughby, 75 of Glen Carbon, Illinois, passed away on September 30, 2025, at Brightly Senior Living after several years of battling dementia.

She was born on May 10, 1950, in Springfield, Illinois, to the late Edward and Helen McKennedy. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Dennis McKennedy. Connie is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Rob) Zschau and Julie (Todd) Stauthammer; grandchildren Caleb (Mallorie), Mason, and Logan Zschau, and Emma and Kailey Stauthammer: her twin brother, Tom Mckennedy, and sisters Patty(Pat) Butler, Jan Lowe, and Carol (Mike) Lehman, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She worked as a manager at Famous Barr and co-owned A-Tel Communications. She later served as the manager of the Bella Vista Village Property Owners Association in Bella Vista, Arkansas.

Her daughters sincerely appreciate the love and support of their family during this difficult time. They are especially grateful to Ardent Hospice and Palliative Care of Southern Illinois for their support in Connie's final days, and to the staff at Brightly Senior Living for the exceptional care and compassion shown throughout her stay.

A private family service will be held to honor Connie's life.
