Cynthia A. Compton, age 61 of St. Jacob, IL, born September 1, 1958 in Noblesville, IN, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

Cynthia was a 1976 graduate of Hamilton Heights High School in Arcadia, IN.  She worked as a Qualified Medicine Aid for 30 years.  She enjoyed camping and the outdoors, and sitting around bonfires.  She loved her grandkids and family dearly, and treasured their trips to Virginia Beach.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Patricia nee Robinson Hale.

She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Mark Compton, whom she married October 6, 1979; a son, Kenneth (Lacey) Compton of St. Jacob, IL; three grandchildren:  Tyler, Kennsley and Avery; and three brothers:  Tom (Mindy) Hale, Tim (Sandra) Hale and Eddie Hale all of IN.

Private services will be held at a later date.
