Cynthia Denise Kimutis, age 59 of Collinsville, IL, born July 31, 1957 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at MemorialEast Hospital in Shiloh, IL.

Cynthia worked at Fairmount Park Race Track in Collinsville for 20 years as a pari-mutuel. She loved birds, especially hummingbirds, plants, and her canine companions Miss Teagy, Ian, and Kiona. She loved her family and grandchildren and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James L. and Shirley nee Joines Woodward.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen Kimutis, whom she married May 30, 1986; her second mother, Verna Dean nee Wolfe Woodward of Collinsville, IL; a daughter, Stephanie (Nicholas) Luchtefeld of Smithton, IL; three grandchildren: Kelsey, Connor and Aubrey; four sisters: Deena (James) Pilcher, Tammy (Carl) Blackwood, Jana (Charles) Wentzel, and Karla (Steven) Arnotti; two brothers: James (Carmen) Woodward, and Jeffery (Martha) Woodward; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 3pm to 7pm on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, IL.

Funeral service will be 11am on Monday, February 27, 2017 at the funeral home with Rev. Roger Wright officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.

Memorials may be made to 3 Little Birds 4 Life and will be received at the funeral home.
