Dale Eugene Huff, age 71, of Troy, IL, born September 7, 1951 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023 at his residence.

Dale was a 1970 graduate of Collinsville High School and the owner of D&D Construction since 1975. He loved working on cars, going to flea markets, fishing, telling stories, going to car shows, and being with his family and friends.  Dale never met a stranger and all of his friends became family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Huff and Lillie Mae (Crossno) Barnett; a brother, Tony F. Huff; and Howard (Hap) McDonald.

He is survived by his wife, Linda (Tarr) Huff whom he married on December 29, 1969; three daughters: Stacey Marie (Carlos Trevino) Ross of Troy, IL, Angela Michelle (Wes) Riddle of Galatia, IL, and Brandie J. (Steve Farrell) Bennett of St. Louis, MO; 8 grandchildren: Marty (Hannah) May, Olyvia Ross, Dominique (Megan Hoog)Giovando, Austin (Liz) Riddle, Birdie Riddle, Andy Riddle, Shyla Schweppe, and Audrey Lynn; 4 great-grandchildren: Rainey Jean Riddle, Priscilla Giovando, Niall & Nash Giovando-Hoog; two sisters: Teresa Neville and Ladonna Powell and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

His wishes were to be cremated and no services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the family.
