Daniel David Morss, age 33 of Caseyville, IL, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023 after a lengthy battle with addiction.

Danny was a graduate of Bunker Hill High School.  He worked as a laborer in construction.  He was a loving father, son and brother.

Throughout his journey, Danny loved his family and God.  Danny will be missed by his family and friends who knew Danny as a kind hearted, loving human who struggled and fought addiction until his death.  He will be whole and rest in God's arms and no longer have to fight the battle of addiction.

He was preceded in death by a nephew, Cody Aubuschon.

Surviving are his two children, Alaina and Gage Morss; parents, Richard and Janice Morss of Sylvania, GA and Kathleen (nee Malone) Charles Gaultney of Caseyville, IL; siblings:  Brandy Schneider of Caseyville, IL, Travis (Heather) Morss of Imperial, MO; Jerad (Sarah) Morss of Crossville, TN, Kelley Gaultney of Collinsville, IL, Lyndsey Gaultney of Caseyville, IL; many nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held.
