David H. Pieplow, age 68, of Collinsville, IL, born June 30, 1953 in Springfield, IL, passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

David was a retired minister.  He had attained his Doctorate of Theology.  He volunteered at St. John Community Care and was very dedicated to church work and the community where he lived.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy Pieplow and Joyce (nee Mullen) Westhoff; and two brothers:  Kenneth and Vinny.

He is survived by his wife, Erla (nee Deardorff) Pieplow, whom he married June 21, 1980; two sons:  Andrew (Liz) Pieplow of St. Genevieve, MO and Aaron (Kara) Pieplow of WI; step-mother, Joanie Carl; siblings:  Brett, Tom, Carri, Luann, Thersa, Lisa, Rosemary and Anna.

His wishes were to be cremated.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on November 14, 2021 at Brazeau Presbyterian Church in Frohna, MO.
