David E. Wells, age 68 of Collinsville, IL, born March 7, 1952 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

David worked for Peerless Premier Appliance Company in Belleville, IL.  He loved traveling and spending time with his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Emily nee Moore Wells.

He is survived by his wife, Ann nee Crepps Wells, whom he married July 10, 1980; two sons, Shawn (Kelly) Wells of Maryville, IL, Aaron (Amanda) Wells of Collinsville, IL; two daughters, Dawn Womack of Collinsville, IL and Debi Scroggins of O'Fallon, IL; 12 grandchildren, James, Colin, Austyn, Carter, Kaitlin, Arinna, Christian, Cadance, Destanie, Kylie, Adyen and Dakota.

David's wishes were to be cremated and private graveside services will be held at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, Collinsville, IL.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital and will be received at the funeral home.
