Collinsville
Deborah Francis Bohnenstiehl (nee Hermsmeyer), February 13, 1971 - October 28, 2024.
Debbi lived most of her life in Collinsville, IL. She attended Holy Cross Lutheran School, Collinsville, IL and went on to get a teaching aide certificate. Debbi worked for the school districts in Collinsville and Dupo, IL. She was married to Eric Bohnenstiehl and had one daughter, Karly Bohnenstiehl. She was a loving mother and loving Nana to her granddaughter, Iris Ramirez. Debbi was the favorite sister of Frank Mullen and Amanda Turner. She was a loving aunt to her nieces, Melissa Mason and Amy Mullen and great-nephew and niece, Hayden and Hadley Mason. She loved family gatherings, birthday parties, and the holidays. It was those times she looked forward to the most. As a child, she enjoyed horseback riding and going to the beach. Her daughter was the apple of her eye and her proudest accomplishment in life. She was loved dearly and will be missed immensely.
She was proceeded in death by her mother, Carrol Hermsmeyer; father, Morris Rosenbaum; her grandparents, Eleanor and William Bauer; and her ex-husband, Eric Bohnenstiehl.
She is survived by her daughter, Karly Bohnenstiehl, (fiancé Aaron Ramirez); her granddaughter, Iris Ramirez; brother, Frank (Debbie) Mullen; sister, Amanda (Jay) Turner; and nieces, Melissa (Zach) Mason and Amy Mullen; great-nephew, Hayden Mason and great niece, Hadley Mason; her uncle, Bill (Patricia) Bauer; cousin, Dianna (Philip) Kerman; great-cousin, Samantha Kerman; and her beloved dog, River.
It's with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our sister, niece, cousin, aunt, mother, and nana. We pray for peace and comfort and cherish the loving memories we will always share and keep close to our hearts.
