Deborah Kay Weil, age 67 of Edwardsville, IL, born September 3, 1951 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

Debbie attained her degree from Eastern Illinois University.  She was a retired payroll analyst for Boeing in St. Louis, MO.  She loved to travel with her husband, Ken, and adored being around family and friends.  Debbie was kind, loving, witty, generous but practical. She was loved by all and will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Geno and Doris ( nee Block) Chiapelli; and a sister, Jeri Lynn Ulkus.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Weil, whom she married March 22, 1986; numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; cousins; and friends.

Memorial visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 4, 2019 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Arthritis Foundation and will be received at the funeral home.
