Dolores E. Johnson, age 91 of Glen Carbon, IL (formerly of Collinsville, IL), born January 18, 1930 in Mt. Olive, IL, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Meridian Village Care Center, Glen Carbon.

Dolores was a retired Administrative Assistant to the St. Louis County Board of Supervisors.  She was a member of the Collinsville Phi Beta Kappa Sorority and enjoyed playing pinochle, reading, and coloring books.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Emma ( nee Viehweg) Jaeck; her husband, Gene Johnson, whom she married in April of 1953; and a brother, Roland Jaeck.

She is survived by two sons:  Michael (Debbie) Johnson of Moorpark, CA and Mark (Joanie) Johnson of Collinsville, IL; and two grandsons:  Joseph Johnson and Matt Taylor.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 2 p.m. at the Edwardsville Township Park, Pavilion #4, 6368 Center Grove Road, Edwardsville, IL 62025
