Dolores J. Polson, age 92 of Collinsville, IL, born November 2, 1930 in Granite City, IL, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Caseyville Nursing & Rehab.

Dolores was a retired bookkeeper for Lombardi Interiors and later worked at the Wooden Bench in Lebanon, MO.  She was a former member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and Altar Society in Granite City, and St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Lebanon, MO.  She enjoyed sewing and quilting.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Polson, whom she married April 22, 1950; parents, Earl and Pearl (nee Caron) Liesmann; and two sisters, Martha Swillum and Arleen Naglich.

Surviving are her three children, Pamela Olmstead of Collinsville, Teresa Burns of Collinsville and Scott Polson of CO; four grandchildren:  Christopher (Therese) Fosterling, Kelli (Nick) Buckhannon, Sean Olmstead, and Maria Evans; seven great-grandchildren.

Private services will be held and she will be buried at Calvary Cemetery in Edwardsville next to her husband, Theodore.

Memorials are suggested to SS Peter &  Paul Catholic Church and will be received at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
