Donna Sue Nelson, age 69 of Maryville, IL, born September 29, 1954 in St. Louis, MO, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at Cambridge House in Maryville.

Donna loved to play solitaire and bingo but most of all she cherished the time spent with her family and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arlie Lee Sr. and Betty Lou (nee Cleaton) Carr; and a brother, Dennis Wayne Carr Sr.

Surviving are her daughter, Tammy (Aaron) Moran of Maryville; two grandsons:  Cameron Lee Morgan and Brenden Cole Davis; five brothers:  Arlie Lee Carr Jr., Eugene Dale Carr, Ralph Leon Carr, William Hale Carr and Martin James Carr; and a sister, Judy Ann Lamar.

Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home in Maryville.

Funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Ron Habermehl officiating.
