Dorine D. Edmonds, age 92 of Glen Carbon, IL, formerly of Highland, CA, passed away on February 8, 2017 at Meridian Village Care Center, in Glen Carbon, IL.

Dorine was a retired school secretary. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and loved dogs. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton "Ed" Edmonds; her parents, Sidney and Ardavee nee Giffin Drew; a brother, Bert Drew; a sister, Barbara Retting; and a nephew, Mark Retting.

She is survived by two daughters: Kathy (Doyle) Holden of Huntington Beach, CA and Phyllis (Larry) Stevens of East Alton, IL; three grandchildren: Jim (Marie) Holden, Jennifer (Matt) Pruitt, and Kyle Harkness; six great grandchildren: Nicole, Breeana, Jeff, Jerry, Ryan and Chloe.

Upon her request she was cremated and will be laid to rest with her husband at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
