Dorothy Jean Lochmann, age 90, of Glen Carbon, IL (formerly of Collinsville), born November 20,1934 in Collinsville, IL, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

Dorothy was a 1952 graduate of Collinsville High School and a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. She enjoyed being a homemaker and was a loving mom and grandma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lydia (nee Wesemann) Bietchert; and her husband, Rene O. Lochmann, whom she married on January 30, 1954; a son, David R. Lochmann; a brother, Earl (Verla) Bietchert; and a sister, Irene (Fred) Moretti.

She is survived by a daughter, Nancy J. Lochmann of Bend, OR; a son, Michael S. (Kristina) Lochmann of San Jose, CA; a grandson, Matthew A. Lochmann; a brother, Elmer (June) Bietchert of Maryville, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery.
