Douglas D. "Doug" Delashmit, age 48 of Collinsville, IL born July 10, 1968 in Belleville, IL passed away at 7:40 a.m. on Monday, September 12, 2016 in Collinsville, IL.

Doug was a 1986 Collinsville High School graduate. He was a drywaller, loved to hunt, had a very big heart, generous, and loved to treasure hunt for items and either sell them or give them away.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald E. Delashmit.

He is survived by his wife, Renee nee Shadwick Delashmit, whom he married November 18, 2000; his mother, Mildred nee Hulsey Delashmit of Troy, IL; a sister, Diane (Mark) Bauser of Alton, IL; two brothers: Donald (Gale) Delashmit of Collinsville and Daniel (Laurie) Delashmit of Biloxi, MS; numerous nieces and nephews and his dog, Maddie.

Memorial visitation will be from 10am to 12 noon on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Alpha and Omega Fellowship Church, 3301 Harvard, Collinsville, IL 62234.

Memorial service will be 12 noon at the church with Rev. Ron Habermehl officiating.
