Earl Edward Kunnemann, age 95 of Collinsville, IL, born January 5, 1922 in Collinsville, IL, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

Earl attended Texas A&M University attaining his Bachelor Degree. He was a Navy veteran, and a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Collinsville, IL. During his military term, he was an aviation chief and electronics technician. He received the Victory Medal, Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, and Good Conduct Medal. Earl retired after 37 years of service at Allis-Chalmers Siemens as an electrical field engineer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Corinne nee Lauff Kunnemann; his parents, Elmer and Martha nee Kleppisch Kunnemann; a brother, Elmer and a sister Marilyn.

He is survived by a daughter, Rhonda "Ronnie" (Steve) Rohrback of Wheaton, IL; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a brother, Bob (Norma) Kunnemann of Collinsville, IL.

There will be a memorial celebration on Sunday February 19, 2017 at 6pm at Cedarhurst Retirement Community 1207 Vandalia Collinsville, IL.

Graveside service will be at 10am on Monday February 20, 2017 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO with military honors.
