Elizabeth "Betty" Jeannette Ingle, age 67 of Maryville, IL, born April 20, 1948 in Chicago, IL, passed away at 12:20 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Betty graduated from Thornridge High School in Dolton, IL in 1966. She retired after 42 years of service as a railroad clerk from Union Pacific Railroad. In her teen years, she was a national roller skating champion. She was a member of Troy United Methodist Church, and enjoyed landscaping projects.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Elsie nee Coleman Matovina.

She is survived by her husband, Rodney Ingle, whom she married August 15, 1969; a daughter, Jaime Ingle of Maryville, IL; and a brother, Pete Matovina of Laramie, WY.

Memorial visitation will be from 9am to 11am on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, IL.

Memorial service will be at 11am following the visitation with Rev Dennis Price officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Siteman Cancer Center and will be received at the funeral home.
