Elizabeth S. Troyke, age 74, of Maryville, IL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on March 12, 1952, in the Philippines. Elizabeth later married John Richard Troyke, who preceded her in death in 2023.

Elizabeth was a devoted homemaker who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She especially enjoyed watching television, with a fondness for classic Western movies.

She is survived by her three sons, Paul (Karen) Diaz of Connecticut, Jai Diaz of Maryville, IL, and John Troyke of Maryville, IL; as well as two grandchildren, Ra Luft and Nathaniel Diaz.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Barry Wilson Funeral Home in Maryville. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Rev. Ron Habermehl.
