Esther Allene Cutlip, age 84 of Edwardsville, IL, formerly of Hartville, OH, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Addington Place in Edwardsville.

Esther was a homemaker, typist, and medical coder. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mary (nee Kovar) Ternosky; a son, Craig Cutlip; and numerous brothers and sisters.

Surviving are her husband, Frank Cutlip, whom she married June 29, 1963; one daughter, Debbie (Stan) Samoska of Edwardsville, IL; daughter-in-law, Julie Cutlip of Columbus, OH; five grandchildren:  Kori, Clayton, Adam, Sarah, and Jeff (Michelle); one great-grandchild, Amia; numerous nieces and nephews; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Joyce and Ken Black.

Esther will be cremated and will be buried at Greenlawn Memorial Park and Mausoleum in Akron, OH at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association and will be received at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
