Gail Catherine (nee Herr) Bryant, age 81 of Collinsville, IL, born February 8, 1943 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.

Gail retired from the St. Clair County Court House where she worked for many years in the secretarial field.  She also worked for L.E. Smith Jewelers in Collinsville.  She was an avid lover of her cats and dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Martha (nee Parrott) Herr; and a brother-in-law, Denny Eads.

She is survived by her son, Brad Bryant of Collinsville; daughter, Teri (Barney) Rodawald of FL; three grandchildren:  Mason Summers, Hannah (Daniel) Wiles and Blakeston Bryant; one great-grandchild, Declan Wiles; two sisters:  Linda (Darrell) Garcia of Maryville, IL and Darleen Eads of Oakville, MO; a cousin and longtime caregiver, Dan "Danny" McEwing of Troy, IL; nieces and nephews.

Gail's request was to be cremated and no services will be held.
