Gary Lee Mann, age 66 of Maryville, IL, born November 27, 1956 in Granite City, IL, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.

Gary graduated from Granite City South High School.  He worked for the Maryville Public Street Department as a laborer for 15 years.  He enjoyed camping and trips with his family and taking care of his yard.  He was a talented handyman and was proud of his 1977 blue Camaro.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Buell and Modena (nee Todd) Mann; a brother, Norman Mann; and a sister, Marlene Nonn.

Surviving are his wife, Mary (nee Liszewski) Mann, whom he married June 30, 1990; a son, Bill Mann of Collinsville; and a daughter, Michelle Mann of Collinsville.

Visitation will be 4 – 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 and 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home in Maryville.

Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Father John Beveridge officiating.  Burial will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Estates, Glen Carbon, IL.
