Glenn William "Bill" Boushard, 79, of Collinsville, IL passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Glenn was born on February 27, 1947, in East St. Louis, IL, to the late Clement Earl and Marcella (Travis) Boushard. On June 14, 1968, he married the love of his life, Donna Dollar, and together they shared more than 58 years of marriage.

Glenn retired from General Motors in Wentzville, MO. Prior to transferring to the Wentzville plant, he proudly worked in St. Louis on the Corvette assembly line as a repairman. He honorably served his country in the United States Army before beginning his career at General Motors.

A faithful member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Collinsville, Glenn served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher. He delighted in handing out candy to the children. Glenn had a gift for making others feel welcome. He truly never met a stranger. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking and fishing.

In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by two brothers, John Boushard and Tom Boushard; and one sister, Earline Wilms.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Donna Boushard; three children, Lisa (Grant) Morris of Perryville, MO, Jason (Peggy) Boushard of Mechanicsburg, PA, and Alan (Melissa) Boushard of Troy, IL; seven grandchildren, Jill Morris, Julie Morris, William Boushard, Zachary Boushard, Lily (Vann) Platz, Seth Smith, and Justin Smith; two sisters, Phyllis Johnson of TN and Jean Jobe of OH; one brother, Mick Boushard of Collinsville, IL; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.

A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, 195 W. Country Lane, Collinsville, IL. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Thomas Worsham IV and Rev. Zachary Boushard officiating.
