Gloria Danielle Winning, age 81 of Edwardsville, IL, born June 26, 1939 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Edwardsville Care Center in Edwardsville.

Gloria graduated from Notre Dame Academy in 1957.  She enjoyed painting, dancing, swimming, softball, attending homecomings, loved antiques, horses, and going to the racetrack.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Gertrude (nee Vrzal) Beller; a sister, Rita Hayden; and two nephews:  Gwain Marron and Todd Zorko.

She is survived by her three daughters:  Michelle (Don) Stock of Edwardsville, IL, Melissa (Chris) Miller of Highland, IL, and Melinda Winning of Highland, IL; five grandchildren:  Courtney (Justin) Rapoff, Jayme (Daniel) Lytle, Michael (Suzie) Stock, Cody Winning and Mikayla Miller; nine great-grandchildren:  Ryland, Brady, Rhett and Brecken Rapoff, Anderson, Cameron and Graham Lytle, Aubrey and Jacob Stock; a brother, Patrick (Jan) Beller of Milstadt, IL; two sisters:  Colleen (Ron) Zorko of O'Fallon, IL and Rosalyn Hammond of Highland, IL; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing guidelines will be observed and masks are required to be worn.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. following the visitation with Father Patrick Gibbons officiating.  Burial will be in Highland City Cemetery, Highland, IL.

Memorials may be made in Gloria's honor to the Alzheimer's Association or Partners for Pets and will be received at the visitation or can be mailed to the funeral home.
