Irene Kirchoff, age 86 of Maryville, IL born October 31, 1925 in Maryville, passed away 8:15 pm Monday, June 25, 2012 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.

She was a homemaker and at one time worked as a seamstress at the Martha Manning Dress Factory in Collinsville, IL. Over the years she attended St. John Lutheran Church in Maryville with her husband, Melvin. She and her husband Mel really loved and enjoyed dancing.

She is preceded in death by her parents, August and Christina nee Dino Brussatti; her husband, Melvin Kirchoff; a brother, John "Jesse" Brussatti; and a sister, Lucille Brussatti.

She is survived by a son, Kim (Tanya) Kirchoff of Collinsville; a grandson, Michael Kirchoff of Collinsville; a great granddaughter, Dylan; a step-granddaughter, Shannon; two step-great grandchildren: Savannah and Marcellus; numerous nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be 4pm to 8pm Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 North Center, Maryville, IL.

Funeral service will be 11am Friday, June 29, 2012 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Walther officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery in Collinsville.
