Irene A. Krakowiecki, age 91 of Collinsville, IL, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023 surrounded by her family.

She was born January 8, 1932 in Kansas City, KS. She married Frank Krakowiecki on June 22, 1957 and he preceded her in death.

Irene worked at Kruta Bakery in Collinsville for many years. She was a member of Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Maryville.

She is survived by her two daughters, Fran (Mandi Dodson) DeLaney and Margie Miles, both of Collinsville, IL; four grandchildren:  Erin Nemsky, Jan (J.T.) Goedeke, Kristen Miles and Katie (Brandon Weber) Miles; three great-grandchildren:  Chatham Nemsky, Carter Goedeke and Colten Goedeke; dear friend, Betty Keller; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Memorial mass will be at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 30, 2023 at Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Maryville with Father Rob Johnson celebrant.  Private burial will be held at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Fairview Heights, IL.
