Jackie Marie Averbeck, 69, of Maryville, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Cambridge House in Maryville.

She was born on June 5, 1956, in Henderson, NV, to the late C Jackie E. Chinn and Jane (née Pate) Chinn.

Jackie worked for many years in retail management and at several gas stations and local markets. She enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, and crafting, finding joy in creating and caring for the things around her. She didn't know a stranger and everyone loved her outgoing personality.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Bobby, Joey, and John Chinn.

She is survived by her three children: Michelle (Josh) Martychenko of Troy, Illinois; Josh (Shawn) Averbeck of Macomb, Illinois; and Brittany (Eddie) Clark of Troy, Illinois. She was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren: Arabella and Alydia Martychenko; Scotty and Reed Averbeck; Grayson Minor; Quinton Ragen; and Henry Clark. She is also survived by her sister, Rebecca Nossamann of West Virginia.

In accordance with Jackie's wishes, she will be cremated, and no public services will be held.
