James H. Scott, age 68 of Collinsville, IL, born July 24, 1952 in St. Louis, MO, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

James was a retired Pediatric Cardiology Echo Technologist.  He was an Army Veteran, and a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Collinsville.  He enjoyed playing golf and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.  He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother and will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James H. Scott Sr. and Vivian (nee Harris) Scott; and two sisters:  Patricia Aaron and Kimberly Scott.

He is survived by his loving wife, Christine (nee Malter) Scott, whom he married February 20, 1973; two sons:  James (Angela) H. Scott III of JBLM Washington and Justin (Erin) Scott of Collinsville; a daughter, Nicole (Aaron) Click of Collinsville; seven grandchildren:  Gavin, Kenidi, Adilyn, Ava, Olivia, Elle Aunna, and Ellowyn); three sisters:  Ruth Ann (Charles) Herzog of Collinsville, Diane (Doug) Eichols of Kansas and Kathy Shelton of Highland; numerous nieces and nephews.

Services are pending at this time.

Memorials may be made in James' honor to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes) and will be received at the funeral home.
