James "Jim" N. Walling, age 80, of Collinsville, IL, born December 1, 1943, in St. Louis, MO, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024.

Jim graduated from Collinsville High School in 1961, where he met his wife, Marie (nee Zavaglia) Walling, and they were married for 59 years until she preceded him in death. For 50 years, Jim was a barber, working other jobs while doing so. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Jim was preceded in death by his parents: Noble and Eunice (nee Ivie) Walling.

Surviving is his daughter, Angela M. Walling; and two brothers: Don (Arlene) Walling and Darrell (Toni) Walling. Jim was blessed to have many nieces and nephews.

No services will be held.
