Jane Gwin Reeder, age 97 of Glen Carbon, IL, formally of Maryville, IL, born August 23, 1926 in Nashville, TN, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Meridian Village Care Center.

Jane was a Collinsville High School graduate of 1945. She enjoyed making things with her hands such as quilting, ceramics, toll painting, and sewing.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Donald J. Reeder, whom she married May 15, 1947; her parents: Grider and Louise (nee Pritchard) Gwin, Sr.; a brother, Grider Gwin, Jr.; and a sister-in-law and her husband, Beverly and Donald Reeder.

Surviving are her daughter, Beth (Joe) Gwin Reeder Jones Arro of Collinsville, IL; two grandsons: Kyle E Jones of Shiloh, IL, and Kevin E (Melissa) Jones of Saint Jacob, IL; a niece, Merry (Andy) Gwin Anderson; and two great-nephews: Micah and Drew Anderson.

Per Jane's request, she wished to be cremated, and no services will be held at this time.
