Janet Marie Boerm, 82, of Collinsville, IL, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 10, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Janet was born on September 3, 1943, in East St. Louis, IL, to the late Lester and Louise (nee Ross) Hall. She worked as a supervisor for AARP for more than 20 years before retiring.

Janet was a kind and giving person who enjoyed volunteering at the Collinsville Food Pantry. She loved spending time going to yard sales and antiquing, and she had a special appreciation for flowers, gardening, and especially trees. Above all else, her family and grandchildren were the most important part of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by three brothers, Holland, Charles, and Don Hall.

She is survived by her son, Craig (Janice) Boerm of Collinsville, IL; three grandchildren, Logan, Ethan, and Emilee; three brothers, Mike Hall of Collinsville, IL, Mark Hall of Collinsville, IL, and Doug (Rena) Hall of Collinsville, IL; one sister, Lisa (David) Holmes of Poplar Bluff, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Janet's wishes were to be cremated, and no public services will be held.

Janet will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
