Janet Jane DeMage, age 64 of Maryville, IL born October 20, 1950 in St. Louis, MO passed away at 3:38 p.m. on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at her residence.

She was a retired payroll clerk for HBE Construction in St. Louis, MO, and also at one time worked for the Collinsville Memorial Public Library. She was a member of Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Maryville, IL. She loved to read and enjoyed going to the Maryville Library. At one time she was a member of the Caseyville Moose Lodge.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank J. DeMage; and a sister, Nancy A. Rachell.

She is survived by her mother, Mabel M. nee Price DeMage;two daughters: Jennifer (Christopher) Grant of FL and Chandra Sample of FL; three sons: Damon Sample of FL, Anthony Johnson of MO, and Frederick Sample of AZ; five grandchildren: Journey, Justin, Josh, Christopher, and Daylen; two brothers: Frank (Judy) DeMage of Blue Springs, MO and Chris (Jeannie) DeMage of New Baden, IL; and a sister, Joan (Larry) Descher of Maryville, IL; numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation will be from 12noon to 2pm on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Barry Wilson Funeral Home in Maryville, IL.

Memorial services will be at 2pm on Thursday at the funeral home with Father Joseph Havrilka officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.
