Jesse L. White of Collinsville, born in Greenville, IL passed away at 2:32 p.m. on December 23, 2012 at his residence.

Jesse trained and raced horses at Fairmont Park Race Track. He was a member of the H.B.P.A. (Horsemen's Benevolent & Protective Association), and an Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J. Wesley and Myrtle L. nee Galey White; wife, Beverly Jane nee DalyWhite; daughter, Lou Ann House; sister, Evelyn Daniels Ely; and brother, James Killman.

Jesse is survived by his son, Dennis House of DuBuque, IA; two daughters: Lisa (Jack) Graham of Centralia, IL and Sharon (Keith) Wallman of Herculaneum, MO; seven grandchildren: Paul and Jason Skinner; Dennis House, Jr. and Monica Van Ess; Tori, John and William Graham; two great grandchildren: Jack Skinner and Avery Van Ess; and sister, Noma (Hershel) Bryant of Wyoming.

Visitation will be Friday, December 28, 2012 from 10am to 1pm at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 North Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.

Private graveside services will be held at Lake View Cemetery, Fairview Heights, IL.
