JoAnn Jean Twyman, age 79 of Maryville, IL formerly of Carlinville, IL, born August 3, 1939 in Litchfield, IL, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Liberty Village in Maryville, IL.

JoAnn was a retired computer programmer for the State of IL-Secretary of State Office.  She loved animals, being outdoors, and spending time in Florida.  She was a member of the Elks Club in Homosassa, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Hilma ( nee Timinsky) Granger; and her husband, Robert Twyman.

She is survived by her three children:  Bradley (Amy) Twyman of Troy, IL; Tamara (John) Harvey of Maricopa, AZ, and Leanne Hampton of Hillsboro, IL; five grandchildren:  Amber (Jason) Reynolds, Gabrielle Hosick, Brady, Owen and Drew Twyman; two great grandchildren:  Austin Key and Joel Reynolds.

Memorial visitation will be 9am to 11am on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1300 Beltline Road, Collinsville, IL.

Memorial service will be at 11am following the visitation with Rev. Michael Walther officiating.

Memorials may be made to ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) and will be received at the visitation or can be mailed to the funeral home.
