Jolie Eileen Boeger, 73, of Maryville, IL, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, with her loving husband by her side.
She was born on September 27, 1952, in Bloomfield, NE, to the late John and Elaine (Basta) Wagner. On May 15, 1982, she married the love of her life, Donald Boeger, who survives.
Jolie devoted more than 35 years of service as an executive assistant with MERS Goodwill in St. Louis, MO, before her retirement.
A faithful member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Collinsville, Jolie found great joy in singing and sharing her faith. She was an avid reader who also loved challenging family and friends to games of Scrabble and bridge. Above all, Jolie treasured time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought immeasurable joy to her life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Amanda, and her brother, James Robert Wagner.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, Donald Boeger of Maryville, IL; her two loving daughters, Megan (Andrew) Mastic of Wildwood, MO, and Kirsten Alms of Brentwood, MO; her six cherished grandchildren, Sarah, Audrey, Caroline, and Luke Mastic, and Chloe and Isaac Alms; her sister, Chery (Gary) Sides of Troy, Illinois; as well as extended family members and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Collinsville, IL. The funeral service will begin at 12:30 p.m. with Rev. Andrew Packer and Rev. Andrew Mastic officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery in Collinsville.
Memorials are suggested to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church or Goodwill Industries. Memorial donations will be accepted at the visitation or may be mailed to Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
