Joseph M. Johnson age 71 formerly of East St. Louis, IL, born January 20, 1943 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Sunday November 2, 2014 at 5:20am at Elmwood Nursing Home in Maryville.

He was a 1961 Collinsville High School graduate, a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Fairmont City, and a former member of the Knights of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clyde E. Sr. and Clara E. nee Dresch Johnson, and a brother Clyde E. Johnson Jr.

He is survived by a brother Donald Johnson of Iola, WI, and numerous nephews.

Upon Joe's wishes, he will be cremated and private services will be held.
